Whilst trying to source training for our carers when County Carers was started, it became apparent that what we needed did not exist. It was always part of our plan to develop our own in-house elite training programme to meet the company’s training needs, and we were delighted when Christine Rich accepted the position of Head of Training and Development, bringing her wealth of knowledge and experience to the role.
County Care Academy was founded to ensure that our carers were all trained to an exceptional standard to promote quality of care across the board, for the benefit of our clients.
Due to the success of our in house training platform, we developed an external training programme offering practical, compliant and well delivered face to face training adapted to suit individuals or company requirements. County Care Academy offer a bespoke training package tailor made to meet organisational needs, to include specialist areas of training. Our all encompassing training solution enables/empowers delegates to perform with the knowledge and confidence at the highest standard, ensuring legal and CQC compliance.
A full programme covering 13 core subjects, providing the essential knowledge and skills, to successfully fulfil the requirements of their role.
All in one theory and practical training course covering the core elements of care, ensuring competency and legal compliance.
The course defines and identifies the different forms of dementia, common causes, identifying signs and symptoms, the importance of early diagnosis and person centered care.
An interactive experience designed to bring out the best in delegates, engaging with the trainer to encourage learning with a personable approach. Assessing knowledge and understanding through one to one communication and group participation.
Practical workshop designed to apply the theory through active participation. Experience the approved techniques and demonstrate competency in good working practices.
We offer an extensive variety of courses which can be uniquely programmed to meet individual or current organisational needs. The structure of the sessions is for optimum learning and enjoyment.
