Face-to Face- Terms and Conditions

The Training provider- County Care Academy is registered in England and Wales with                 registration number 13589086, the registered office is Devonshire Place, Crowthorne, Berkshire, Rg45 6NA.

The Client- The organisation/individual booking and/or paying for the training course.

The Delegate- The person attending the training course.

Bookings- Bookings for courses can be made by individuals or organisations on behalf of delegates. These can be booked online or by calling 01344 949219. For group bookings and specialist requests please contact the provider on 01344 949219 or via email enquiries@countycareacademy.com

When booking a course online, a payment will be taken at time of booking. For group and specialist packages made via telephone or email an invoice will be generated and payment terms will be 7 days. Until payment is received the course is only provisionally reserved. A receipt will be sent once payment has been received. 

Non completion of course- If a delegate is absent during any of the course they are booked onto, the training provider should be made aware as soon as possible. Options to catch up on missed content will all be chargeable and include a one-to-one with the trainer, a webinar and coming face to face on an alternative date.

Training Provider Cancellation- The provider reserves the right to cancel or to arrange an alternative date for any course, in this case a full refund will be made, unless the client/delegate would like to be offered an alternative date. The training provider will not be liable for any expenses incurred from a cancellation or date change, such as travel or accommodation costs.

Client cancellation- Refunds are not available once payment has been made, however, it may be possible to move the delegate onto the same course at a later date, this date must be within 3 months of the original course date, and this can only happen once. If the re scheduled date has to be cancelled by the delegate/client, then all monies paid will be retained and no further dates will be offered under the original agreement. 

Changes to course- The Training provider reserves the right to change course timings, change the trainer, or move the course to an alternative location (within 10 miles of original location).

Intellectual property- The training provider retains it’s intellectual property rights in all of its materials, documents and software, none of this can be copied, reproduced or disclosed to any third parties without prior consent from the training provider. If the training provider is made aware of any breaches of this, then we may take legal action to stop such activity and to seek compensation. 

Force Majeure– An event beyond the reasonable control of the training provider (including but not restricted to- strikes, traffic congestion, downtime of any external line, strikes, accidents, war, fire, acts of God, reduction in or unavailability of power). 

If County Care Academy is prevented or restricted from carrying out all or any of its obligations under these terms and conditions of sale by reason of any force majeure event, then County Care Academy shall be relieved of its obligation during the period that such event continues, and shall not be liable for any delay or failure in the performance of its obligations during such period. 

Data Protection- The training provider is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office registration number ZB284849. The Training provider will need to hold some personal information on its delegates. Reasonable technical and procedural precautions are taken by the provider to prevent the loss or misuse of personal data. The training provider does not hold or retain payment details, if paying via the website these will be processed by Stripe under their Global Privacy Policy. 

Jurisdiction- These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
